Hello friends and family. This is my first attempt at blogging- and I am not sure where it is going. Barry is taking a sabbatical next summer, and I really wanted to have the blog for that up and going. I may keep this as the blog for that- or I may create one that is for people @ the church and keep this one for family. Anyway- we're off- Sweet Holmes is because we are from Alabama- but have also lived in Kentucky and in Iowa now. Our hearts will always bleed southern, and if we weren't both prone to diabetes, sweet tea would probably be mixed with it. I will probably cover spiritual topics, storytelling and cooking. Welcome to the beginning of 2010 and the beginning of our blogging life.
